Yale electric forklifts are made by the Yale Materials Handling Corporation. Yale is a diverse company which makes pneumatic tire, cushion tire, electric and diesel forklift trucks. Many people choose Yale forklifts for their reliability. Some of the more popular models include the ERC045-070VG, and ERC070-120HH. The 120HH can lift up to 12,000 lbs which is enough for most jobs. This unit has a cushion wheel, which should mainly be used indoors. The Yale electric forklift series come with many standard features such as power steering and Yale Hi-Vis masts.

If you need a narrow truck, you may want to consider the ESC030-040AC, which is 42” wide. This unit is suitable for smaller jobs, as the maximum lift capacity is 4,000 pounds. Depending on the model you choose, it will have either a 36 or 48 volt battery system, and will travel up to 10.4 miles (while unloaded). If these machines are too large, you can also consider purchasing an electric pallet jack. These have similar functions to regular forklift trucks, with the exception that the operator is not seated. Instead of being in a seated position, the operator will walk behind the unit.

Electric forklifts are generally made to be used in indoor environments. These units have lead acid batteries which help keep the center of gravity low. Electric lift trucks also have a lower ground clearance as well, compared to Pneumatic tire diesel trucks. Electric forklifts are used for various purposes such as unloading and moving pallets, order fulfillment, and other general warehouse duties. Lift trucks can also be fitted with aftermarket attachments to increase the functionality of the machine. Some of the attachments you can purchase include fork extensions, fork rotators, and side-shifters. You can also purchase additional aftermarket accessories such as rotating beacons and back up sirens for your electric forklift truck. If you do not have a dealer nearby, you can also purchase used parts from various Internet dealers.
