Purchasing a new or used TCM diesel forklift can be done directly through the Internet, if you do not live near an authorized TCM dealer. There are many different types of forklift trucks in the market place, and the type which will best suit your needs will mainly depend on your operating environment. The reason people do not use these inside, is because of the carbon monoxide and other toxic fumes which are created during the internal combustion process. Diesel forklift trucks can be acquired at a lower price, if you are willing to purchase either repossessed, used or refurbished TCM diesel forklift trucks. The TCM material handling trucks, are made in the USA.  You can purchase many different options with your fork lift truck, such as different sized forks, safety items such as rotating beacons and sirens. 

Part of deciding what truck you will need to purchase, depends on where you will be using your diesel forklift truck. If you are mainly driving it on outdoor roads, you can use smooth pneumatic wheels. If you're using it in an environment where the terrain may be uneven, or extremely soft you will need to buy pneumatic forklift wheels with large rubber treads. The drawback to having wheels with large rubber treads is that they are not as efficient on smooth terrain.

If you're going to buy a new or used TCM diesel forklift, you might want to consider purchasing an extended warranty. This is very important if you do not have adequate in-house resources to perform your own forklift truck repair and maintenance work. Maintenance is the key to maximizing the life of your TCM forklift. It is very important to perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing the fluid in various parts of the forklift such as the hydraulic fluid, engine coolant, motor oil etc. You may also want to consider leasing the truck instead of purchasing it. Leasing the TCM diesel forklift truck can be a good way to spread out the cost over the lifetime of the machine.
