Price Pfister shower heads are a great item to consider purchasing if you are remodeling your bathroom shower.  Price Pfister is an American company, and has been around for almost 100 years.  They have many different models in various finishes such as brass and stainless steel.

If you are looking to purchase shower heads, keep in mind that they all have a maximum flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute, due to Federal Regulations.  If you want to increase the shower pressure, you can take out the plastic flow rate regulator.  The only disadvantage is that you may need to buy a larger hot water tank, if you find that this modification dramatically increases the amount of hot water usage.

There are many different styles of shower heads available ranging from waterfall shower heads, to massaging showerheads.  Some models offer pulsating massages, however I feel that they are mostly a gimmick (at least from my experience in hotel showers).  I do personally enjoy the removable shower heads which allow you to shower and use the wand in your opposite hand.

If I were to redo my entire bathroom again, I would opt for dual shower heads.  The main reason I do not want to purchase such an upgrade is because I know that I would take much longer showers, effectively forcing me to upgrade my hot water tank as well.

You can purchase shower heads online or from your local Lowes department store. Keep in mind that purchasing these online can be much cheaper, and many places will offer free shipping as well. This is a great way to make your purchases, especially with the price of gas going up over $3.00 per gallon.

Price Pfister is a lower end brand, compared to Moen, Hahns Grohe, etc.  You can usually save some money, and it is also a good idea to purchase the items in the same matching line.  This way, you can make sure that the shower head matches the other bathroom fixtures such as your bathroom faucets.  Stainless steel is a great clean look, and very simply to clean.  Keep in mind that lower end shower heads may have weaker coatings which may chip over time. 

If you live in an area with hard water, you may want to consider purchasing a water softener as well.  Hard water will usually leave chalky white residue on your skin, when you step out of the shower.  This can be an issue if you are showering in the wintertime as it can exacerbate dry skin conditions. 

Remodeling your bathroom can be a great way to increase the value of your home, as bathrooms and kitchens are the most important elements to home sales (after property location).  Usually remodeling the bathroom will increase the resale value of your home.  This is especially true if your current place is older. 

Price Pfister shower heads can be installed by yourself with regular hand tools (i.e. wrench).  The only thing you will need is Teflon tape.  Teflon tape is wrapped around the threads of the shower head, to prevent your shower from leaking water at the top of the unit.
