Hyundai Forklift and electric pallet truck rentals

Renting a Hyundai forklift can be a great way to increase your warehouse efficiency, or bring in short term equipment if you have a special project.  Hyundai competes with companies such as Hyster and Yale (both made by NMHG), and is a great alternative option.  Hyundai material handling equipment is made by HCE, which is the parent company. 

You can rent Hyundai forklifts from Hyundai specific dealers or you can also rent their forklifts from other deals as well which carry various brands of industrial rental equipment.  Hyundai forklifts are very easy to spot from their distinct bright yellow color.  You can rent various Hyundai forklift models such as the 15LC-7A, 18LC-7A, 20LC-7A, 25LC-7A, and the 30LC-7A.  These machines have lift capacities which range from 3,000 up to 6,000 pounds for their internal combustion forklift truck line.  Hyundai also offers internal combustion pneumatic tire forklift trucks, along with electric battery models as well.

Renting an electric pallet truck can be a great way to also perform a test on machinery before you decide you want to purchase the particular model in mind for your fleet.  Keep in mind that you should work closely with the fleet rental manager to be sure that you are properly sized up for the right type of rental forklift truck.  This can save a lot of headache if you rent the wrong type of forklift truck and you need to return the unit.  Be sure to ask enough questions to be sure that you can get the exact model including any accessories you may need such as forklift fork extensions. 

One of the positive aspects of fleet rentals is that you do not have to worry about things such as replacing pallet jack parts, performing your own maintenance, ect.

When you are going to rent a Hyundai forklift truck, make sure you read the contract to make sure you understand all the terms and conditions.  For example, in many standard agreements the agreed upon maximum usage in a single day is 8 hours.   What that means is that if you are going to use your machine for more than 8 hours you will have to be an extra amount for the extra usage of the lift truck.  Be sure to go over the machine before you accept the unit, in case there is any damage that may have been omitted from the rental contract.  This is extremely important to do before accepting your rental forklift truck because occasionally the rental manager from the forklift company may omit information and you could be charged for damages which you didn’t do to the machine.  Also keep in mind that your own business liability policy may cover accidental damage which may occur from using your rental electric pallet jack. 

Make sure that your forklift operators are properly licensed and up to date on current OSHA standards.  This is extremely important in case there is an accident involved with your Hyundai forklift.  You don’t want to be in a position where the insurance company may deny coverage because your forklift operator was not properly trained and licensed to operate the Hyundai lift truck.
