You can also buy used or refurbished diesel forklift trucks if you are looking to save on the costs of acquiring equipment. You can find used machines certified by the factory, if you are looking for machines which are backed by a factory warranty. If you do not mind foregoing a factory warranty you can also purchased used machines directly from end users or by calling brokers. If you decide to purchase a used machine, be sure to have a 3^rd party inspect the machine. This can save you from being surprised with any unknown faults in the forklift. Be sure you also review copies of the service logs as well in order to determine whether or not the previous owner has properly maintained the equipment.

If you are leasing your machine you can usually build in the maintenance cost into your monthly payments.
